The Faculty Committee appointed last spring to consider new combination fields of concentration has met this fall and entertained several schemes submitted to it from various departments, Chairman Arthus S. Pease, professor of Latin, and Walter Channing Cabot, Fellow, said yesterday.
The Committee is trying to fill gaps in concentration field possibilities, but "is proceeding conservatively," Professor Pease revealed. "Our work has consisted of approving general plans of combinations rather than the schedules of individual students," he added.
Arrangement and administration of problems connected with new concentration combinations are to be left to the departments concerned, acting in connotation with the Combination Committee. Recommendations from any member of the Faculty are received and considered.
