The Moviegoer

At the University

Fredric March's "Buccaneer," now playing at the University, does not, like so many good pictures, herald a relapse in programs. On the contrary, "Gold Is Where You Find It," which will succeed "The Buccaneer" on Sunday, carries on as one of the finest pictures of its kind. Photographed entirely in technicolor, it is an epic of early California when the issue of the day was between gold and wheat. George Brent is excellent as the young mining engineer, and Olivia De Haviland is convincing enough as the passionate exponent of agriculture. The picture is well worth seeing by any homeless Harvard waifs incarcerated here over the weekend.
