Lone Freshman Faces Easy Track Manager Competition

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Unless more Yardlings aspire to become Freshman track manager, Willard Dalrymple '43, will inevitably get the job, as he was the only man to report at the first meeting of the competition, held yesterday.

Any other Freshmen desiring to compete should report at Dillon Field House at 3 o'clock this afternoon, according to Albert O. Smith '40, manager of the team. The competition, which lasts until May 24, will require only about one hour a day, three days a week. The winner will get his major numerals.

The competition for Senior manager will be held next winter and will be open to all Sophomores. The winner will accompany the team abroad for the Oxford-Cambridge meet in 1943.
