WALSH RESIGNS HOBART POST IN CITIZENSHIP COURSE ROW

J. Raymond Walsh, protagonist in the Walsh-Sweezy case of recent Harvard times, has earned a place in Hobart annals too. He resigned Tuesday from his position on the faculty at the Geneva, N. Y. college, following a disagreement with the president.

After authoring a study of industrial unionism, called "C. I. O.," Walsh became professor of economics and director of citizenship at Hobart. The current squabble concerned the control of the citizenship program--studies and personnel.
