Bud Waldstein Pitches As Crimson Takes On Huskies

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Aiming to duplicate Burgy Ayres 7 to 3 upset over a strong North-eastern squad last year, Sophomore Bud Waldstein will go to the mound for the Stahlmen when they meet the Huskies on Soldiers Field this afternoon at 4 o'clock.

Led by Al Pajonas of Hartford, whose sensational shortstopping has attracted the attention of big league Ivory hunters, the New England College Conference leaders will field one of the strongest teams which the Crimson has come up against this season.

Coach Floyd Stahl will start his regular lineup if right-hander Foster pitches as scheduled. Against a southpaw, however, Bill Barnes might go into the batting order in place of Bill Parsons, who swings from the portside.
