Students will be able to register their bicycles at the office of the Superintendent of Caretakers instead of going to the Cambridge Police Station at Central Square, it was announced yesterday.

Since the deadline for getting the news places is next Wednesday, bike-owners should waste no time in registering, superintendent Stuart said. Blanks will be given out at the office in Grays 39-40.

These blanks should be filled out in full and taken to the University Squash Courts on Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon. There will be police on hand to give out plates from 2 to 5 o'clock on both days.

There will be a charge of 26 cents for each bicycle registered. After Wednesday all bikes without plate will be stopped and the owners may be liable to fines.
