Professor Raiph M. Hower, assistant professor of Business History at the Business School has been commissioned a Major in the Service of Supplies of the Army of the United States, it was announced Friday. It is expected that he will be sent abroad shortly to the headquarters of the European theatre of operations.

The nature of his assignment is confidential, but it is understood that he was selected because of his training in history, business administration, and European affairs.
