Trackmen Tie Andover In Final Meet, 27 to 27

Ringing down the curtain on the regular winter track season, Coach Jaako Mikkola's Crimson battled to a 27 to 27 draw last Saturday in a dual meet at Andover Academy.

Mikkola, who last week predicted that his team would get 41 points against Exeter (final score, Harvard 41, Exeter 13) again did some pre-meet paper work, adding a point here, subtracting one there, and finally reaching the conclusion that the meet would wind up in a 27 to 27 deadlock.

Scoring for Harvard were Brown, who picked up third in the dash; Wharton and Clark, who placed second and third respectively in the 300; Atwell and De Fries, who did the same in the 600; Tuttle and Robbins, first and second in the 1000; and Tootell and Harwood, who grabbed two first places in their respective shot and vault events.

Time trials for positions on the relay foursomes which are scheduled to compete in the B.A.A. Games will be held next Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock in Briggs Cage.
