United Nations Council members in the college provide a vital link between the UN and the English-speaking world in a series of weekly broadcasts over WRUL.

Listeners in Europe, Africa, and the Far East have affirmed that the six-month old program, written and presented by students, has been a major source of growing world-wide familiarity with the activities and functions of the UN.

Every Saturday at three o'clock the fifteen minute program, now dealing with the accomplishments of the 1947 General Assembly, is beamed overseas by WRUL, Boston and New York, the only independent short-wave "propaganda" station in America.
