Six cars skidded and collided outside the Union yesterday between 12:45 and 1 p.m. as over 30 freshmen, weary from exams, stood by and cheered the unexpected action.

Before workmen could arrive on the scene with loads of sand early in the afternoon, the hill down Quincy st. was as treacherous as a Chemistry 20 exam. The only cars to traverse it without accident were those lucky enough to find Massachusetts ave. free from traffic as they skied across its icy surface.
