Library Seeks Gift From Curvy Marilyn

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The University is now officially interested in Marilyn Monroe. So are at least four other universities, all for the same dignified reason.

Miss Monroe recently bought the manuscript papers of the late theatrical producer Max Reinhardt. Since then, the University of Kansas, U.S.C., U.C.L.A., Stanford, and Harvard have each asked the actress to donate the books to its shelves, she stated.

"So many schools want them I hardly know what to do," she wails. However, she has promised a decision within the next few days.

In the meantime, Southern California is wooing the blonde with an invitation to watch the Rose Bowl game from a 50-yard-line box seat. But Harvard is still in the running: she has not yet accepted the invitation.
