No More Games for Yale's Scoring Gridiron Manager

Charlie Yeager, the Eli football manager who scored Yale's 41st point against the Crimson, wants one more game.

"It's difficult for a fellow to believe that his career is actually over," exclaimed the five-foot manager in a recent interview.

Yeager explained that Andy Kerr, coach of the Eastern team in the East-West bowl game in San Francisco had tried to contact him, but gave up when reminded of the League "no bowl" rule.

A dejected Yeagor admitted, "A rule's a rule. Still, it's tough on the individual. . . . There's always the lingering thought that one more game would really get job done. If I could play one more game, just one more. . . "
