The Phillips Brooks House clothing drive will start next Monday, February 25, and extend for one week, Martin Chooljian '52, president of P.B.H. and chairman of the drive, announced yesterday.
Students should place clothes in the special bins that will be put at the entrance to the House dining halls and the Union, Chooljian said.
Any clothing that is still usable is welcome, he continued. The clothing collected will be cleaned, packed for export, and shipped abroad for distribution to European students.
Last year the Salzburg Seminar relieved most of the clothing collected, but P.B.H. also sent shipments to universities in Slam and Burma.
Charles Hartwell '52, vice-president of the drive, said that clothing would be received at P.B.H. after the close of the drive.
