Radcliffe graduate students living at Ames House at 42 Brattle Street were driven out into the cold just before midnight last night by a small fire in a second floor room. The fire damaged floors and ceilings to the extent of about $75, according to police estimates. Cause of the fire was a short circuit in a floor lamp.
