50 Witnesses at Rally Give CRIMSON Data

Over three dozen eye-witnesses to "last Thursday night's Square Pogo rally yesterday gave the CRIMSON their accounts of the actions of police and students. This brings the CRIMSON's total of such statements to 50, but more are still needed. If you were present at the demonstration, bring your statement to 14 Plympton Street.

In yesterday's paper, it was announced that the Law School's Voluntary Defenders would defend any of those arrested Thursday who need legal aid. Actually, the Voluntary Defenders was established solely to provide legal aid for indigent persons accused of crime. Although the group has accepted the cases of some students, it definitely does not solicit clients or handle the case of anyone who can afford legal counsel.
