Freshman Five Tops Providence By 78-63

With a final six-minute spurt, the freshman basketball team took a 78 to 63 game from Providence College, for its first victory of the season. Tony Messier led the Crimson with 22 points, although Providence's Lionel Jenkins was the game's high scorer with 25.

The freshmen will play their next yams Jan. 8, against Brown, at Providence.
