Brown, Lewis Will Retire This August

Theodore H. Brown, professor of Business Administration, and Howard T. Lewis, professor of Marketing, both research authorities on business management problems, will retire from the Business School faculty August 31.

Author of many mathematical, statistical, and business publication, including a standard statistic textebook, Brown has been a professor here since 1932.

Lewis, now in the 33rd year here, was recently awarded the highest citation given a civilian by the U.S. Air Force, Material Command, for his role in devising a system for surveying Air-Force contract-buying organizations, and for setting up a special procurement course for the aircraft industry.
