White's Backers Gain Pre-Election Victory

Four known supporters of HYRC presidential candidate Dennis L. White '60 were elected to the five-man Elections Committee last night in a club meeting dominated by the "insurgent" White supporters. White called the outcome of the noisy, tense meeting "a convincing show of strength."

Peterson, now president of the club.

In what White called "a move to avert defeat," Peterson, charged with inactivity throughout his tenure, introduced a program of revitalization.
