Alumni Seats Limited In Yale Hockey Rink

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

As many as 200 alumni requests for tickets for Saturday's hockey game with Yale at New Haven may be unfilled because of a shortage of tickets at the Harvard Athletic Association. Frank Lunden, HAA ticket manager, stated yesterday he had only standing room tickets left.

Yale allotted the HAA 398 seat tickets, despite purchases of about 600 tickets by University undergraduates and alumni in previous years. Limited space in the new 2908-seat Insells Rink was blamed for the cutback.

Lunden confessed he had "no idea" how many requests for seats his office has had to turn down, or what part of those refused were undergraduates. People requesting only one or two tickets were given preference for the available seats.
