Polio Shots Advised

Over 3,000 students in the University are susceptible to polio this year, Dr. Dana L. Farnsworth, director of the University Health Services, warned yesterday. He advised students without the full protection of four innoculations to come to 15 Holyoke Street Monday and Tuesday afternoons, 2 to 3 p.m.

Farnsworth based his estimate on a recent survey in Lowell House and Dunster House, which showed about one-quarter of the students lacked protection. "We have a large reservoir of susceptible people here," he stated.
