By asking for contributions of $10 per student, the Combined Charities Drive hopes to raise $21.500 this year, Committee co-chairman Thomas C. Jones '63, and Michael H. Belknap '63, announced yesterday.
One innovation in the Drive this year is the establishment of a Harvard Combined Charities Scholarship Fund, the resources of which will be used to aid upperclassmen in the College.
Other Charities which the drive will contribute to are the Greater Boston Area United Fund, the National Association for Mental Health, the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund, the United Negro College Fund, and Phillips Brooks House.
