'Cliffies Strike Again In Quest for Rights

Another step has been taken down the long road.

The University Directory of Officers and Students, a traditional bulwark of masculinity, lists 'Cliffies in its 1960-61 edition.

The addition is "a mutual decision of the President's Offices of Radcliffe and Harvard," stated Horace L. Arnold '24, publication agent for the University. "I assume it is the result of a mutual desire for further unification."

Although Arnold did not see any "ultimate social significance" in the move to include both Radcliffe students and officers in the new directory, many 'Cliffies called it "another great victory in our march toward complete co-education."

The drive for women's rights may be Opear-headed by the famous Committee to Take Radcliffe Seriously, which was originally established in 1940. While billing to take most 'Cliffies fairly seriously, many Harvard men protest the directory change as "democratic."
