Urfirer added that the event may still be cancelled, but he expects to sell most of the remaining tickets in the few days before the concert.

Tickets are going fast at other schools such as Boston University and Simmons College and the assembly will approach students at other local schools this week, Leslie A. Cornfeld '81, chairman of the assembly, said at the meeting.

Urfirer said he would prefer a large Harvard attendance, but added that because it is a charity event it would be better to have students from other colleges support the concert than to cancel it.

In other business, the assembly unanimously approved a letter to President Bok asking him to form a committee to study revising the calendar so that reading period and final exams fall before Christmas vacation.

A College-wide opinion poll conducted this month by the assembly shows that about 64 per cent of the students favor those changes.
