If nothing else, the Harvard Rugby Football Club came out of its season-opening, 24-15 loss to Army Saturday at Soldiers Field brimming with confidence.

"They are not unbeatable," senior back Annor Ackah said. "We stuck with this team, the number one ranked team in the East, and we showed we could play with them."

After a mistake-filled first half put the Crimson behind, 20-3, Harvard staged a furious rally in the final 15 minutes with two trys by fullback Bruce Miller.

"Our offense wasn't doing much in the first half," senior fly-half Chris Liles said. "We made a few mistakes in our end and gave away some points. It was a confidence-builder to score [in the second half]. We were pleased with that."

Miller, taking over for graduated All-New England fullback Nathan Koenig, scored both trys.
