Three members of the Harvard women's cycling team travelled to Long Island over spring break to race against 40 competitors in the Stonybrook Invitational.

They hoped to bring home a first-place prize. They bought home two, and another Top 10 finish to boot.

Renee Covi and Clara Farley crossed the finish line together to tie for the victory in the two-day stage race. Martha McFally added an eighth as Harvard outshone its collegiate competition.

"We'll have more riders for the rest of our season," Covi said. "Hopefully, we'll send more people to the nationals than we did last year."
