Young Track Star Shatters Records

HIGHLIGHTS

The Harvard women's track and field team may have lost against Boston College on Saturday, but that meet will be hard to forget.

Freshman Dora Gyorffy, in her first collegiate meet, broke two Harvard records. The high jump was ruled by Gyorffy when she skied two inches past the Crimson record.

The 6'2" jump was just the start. Gyorffy then moved on to the triple jump where she broke another Harvard record after only one jump.

Gyorffy would have put a third mark on the books in the long jump, but due to the long duration of the high jump, Gyorffy was unable to compete in the event.

See tomorrow's Crimson to learn more about this budding young track star.
