Tip-off.
19:46 Harris draws a foul down low. Lin drives to the paint for a bucket, 2-0.
Harvard playing a man-to-man to start, but Lin lets Terrier leading scorer Carlos Strong open for three. 2-3 Terriers.
18:45 Lin counters with a jumpshot of his own. 4-3 Harvard.
18:20 Brittain, Terriers' big men, up strong for bucket over Magnerelli then blocks Pat on the other end. 4-5.
18:00 In transition, Boston nails another three. 4-8.
17:40 Lin has all of Harvard's points as he is cutting to the lane uncontested. 6-8.
16:30 Sophomore Corey Lowe makes his second three. 6-11. Terriers shooting lights out.
Pusar counters with threee of his own.
Pusar steals it on the other end, starts transition, passes to Lin to Housman, he takes it up and is hacked.
16:00 9-11. Two shots for Housman at the stripe. Makes both. Tied at 11-11.
And we have our first break of the match here at the Case Center at Boston University. Boston is shooting lights out, especially from three, where three of its four field goals have come from. The Terriers are 4-5 from the field, 3-3 from three. The squad seams to have just these two shooters, so we'll see if the Crimson switches D.
Nope, they go to a zone, and Terriers hit another open three. 11-14.
Housman, Lin, and Harris out. This prompted a rough patch in the Michigan game for the Crimson. But who steps up? Mr. Pusar drops a layup, 13-14. 14:45 Block by Magnerelli on one end, Okereke walks on the other. Still 13-14.
13:30 Another three, this time from Strong, the team's leading scorer. 13-17.
13:04 No way! Terriers miss a three. Off the ball foul and Lin and Housman come back in.
12:50 Housman turns it over, and Harvard gets into its defensive set. Good D, and they push. Harris nice look to Magnerelli after driving. 15-17.
12:00 Lin misses layup, but Harris is there to clean up. 17-17.
Timeout with 11:39 to play.
Amaker is not happy with the team's performance so far. The squad is not getting out on the threes, but one has to think that it's only a matter of time before Boston starts missing some shots. Amaker definitely expects tougher D coming out of the timeout. We'll see if they can get McGreary a shot here as well.
11:06 Good D but Lowe gets an open bucket. McGreary counters with a wild thre attempt. Lowe makes another three at the other end. Bad start after the timeout. 17-22. Lin got a hand in his face, but this team is on fire in the first half.
The Terriers are shooting 75 percent from three, knocking in 6.
9:56 Harris gets fouled. Makes both on the other end. 19-22.
9:30 Foot on the line, but called a three anyway. Lowe makes another three. But Pusar counters with a crucial three of his own. Then yells at his bench, "Let's Go!" 22-25.
9:00 Housman drives to the paint, goes up strong, draws the blocking foul. Shooting two. Makes the first. The second-swish. 24-25. The Crimson can't keep playing from behind.
8:30 Terriers miss its first three in ages. Housman gets on the other end, takes a crossover dribble, then nails a beautiful jumpshot from 16 feet, putting the Crimson ahead for the first time since the 18:45 mark. 26-25.
7:20 Brittain takes Magnerelli to the basket, puts Terriers up 26-27.
After turnover, McGreary saves layup, forces turnover.
6:40 But after Harris miss, no transition defense from Crimson, Lowe gets a two-handed slam on other end. 29-26.
Terriers are looking confident, have the momentum. Strong gets layup to go over Magnerelli. Little 6-0 run here for the Terriers. 26-31.
5:57 Unger draws a tic-tac foul, goes to the line for one-and-one. Makes both. 28-31.
5:34 Brittain taking Harvard's big men to school. This time it's Unger. 28-33.
Then instant layup for Terriers after turnover. 28-35.
This is not looking good for the Crimson, who can't stop the Terrier barrage.
4:30 Housman misses three. Strong airballs one of his own. Housman now gets his three on, makes a crucial basket to partly stop the bleeding. 31-35.
What defense is the Crimson playing? Letting in layups left and right. One more for the Crimson, 31.37.
Pusar stepping it up for the Crimson, makes driving layup on other end. 33-37.
2:45 Housman comes back and drops open layup on next possession. 2:30 to play, 35-37.
2:15 Strong pump fakes Housman out of his shoes. Makes step-back three. He has almost 20 for the Terriers with 2:00 to play in first half.
The Crimson don't have an answer.
Pusar and Housman are working the one-two on the other end and trying to keep the Crimson in it. But its still 35-40 BU. This is not the first half they wanted.
One thing going right for the Crimson is its shooting at the line.
The Crimson is perfect from the stripe, 10-10, this is keeping them in it, as well.
2:00 Harvard makes two more, now from Housman, 37-40.
1:30 Terrier turnover. Lin comes back in after sitting with two fouls.
1:00 Terrier transition layup--again. 37-42.
Magnerelli gets stuffed, Crimson give up layup on other end. Largest advantage for BU at 7, 37-44.
Housman misses three to end the half, one the Crimson would like to forget. With your score, Boston University 44, Harvard 37.

SECOND HALF
19:33 Harris block, Pusar strong move an layup. Harvard looks pumped.
But Lowe makes another three, 39-47.
Brittain drives on Magnerelli, looks strong. 39-49.
This is about to get away from the Crimson with 18:35 to play.
18:20 Pusar has 14 now, leading the team, after another powerful move to the paint. He is continuing to lead after a great perfomance against Michigan.
17:45 Housman nails 3-pointer, cool and collected, after ball gets batted around, 44-49. Quick 5-0 run the Crimson needed.
17:10 Offensive board for Britain over Harris. Foul on the floor on Pusar, his second. That's Lin and Pusar with two apiece.
16:54 Harris plays strong D on Lowe, Amaker is switching up the D, and it's working. He draws the charge.
16:22 Harris turnover. Off-the-ball foul on Harris, that's three fouls, he's out for the time being.
15:54 Lowe draws foul on shot, shooting two after the timeout. 44-49. Terriers miss its first free throw of game. Makes second, 44-50.
15:35 Magnerelli, after being pushed the ground, gets a power dunk after the inbounds pass. He faked the drop off to Housman, which both Terriers expected, then drove the paint and slammed it home.
Then, he gets block on one end, then transition layup back on the other.
Moral of this story: Don't mess with Pat Magnerelli. 48-50.
14:23 Lin turnover, Lowe layup on other end. Stops 10-2 Crimson run. 48-52.
14:08 But Housman steps it up. Hits big three, again, bringing the Crimson to within one at 51-52 with 14:08 to play.
It's the Housman-Pusar show on the court tonight. The two are combining for 33 of the 51 points for the team. The two, who are also roommates, are also the most vocal, calling for the squad to wake-up.
13:27 After nice jumpshot from BU on one end, Housman draws pushing follow on the other. Harvard already in bonus. And Housman nails the first to get 20, hits the second to bring Crimson with one, 53-54.
12:50 Lowe big on both ends. Gets fadeaway three on one end, then packs Lin on layup on the other. 53-57. Harris, as a consolation, back in the game. He needs to step it up after only having 4 points, 4 boards in first half.
First play back: traveling.
Timeout with 11:31 to play. 53-57.
11:06 Harris "is a human turnover" comes from the BU crowd. Tonight, I agree. Charging foul, that's four fouls for Harris.
10:43 Lowe can't be stopped, gets three, 53-60.
After turnover, Harris gets fifth foul by fouling hard on the end. But Terriers miss free throws. 53-60.
Harris is out with 10 minutes to play.

9:09 Magnerelli atones, nails putback and-one, makes the free throw. 56-62. The Crimson needed that one.
No production from Lin since the first two minutes.
8:39 Lowe has not missed a shot this half. Hits tough two over Magnerelli. 56-64.
McGreary misses only his second three-pointer of the night. He has zero points.
8:21 Timeout, but Amaker choses to leave Housman on the bench. And Housman is not happy.
Lowe misses a layup, Demuyankur gets board and gets fouled. He'll shoot one-and-one. 56-64.
You just feel like if Harvard starts playing, it has a chance for one more run.
We'll see.
7:48 He misses the front end.
7:15 Crimson doesn't block out, Brittain gets boad and layup. 56-66.
6:57 McGreary gets fouled, he'll shoot two, as will the Crimson from not here on out. He makes both, and the Crimson is staying in it by going 15-16 from the line this game. 58-66.
But can the Crimson sustain a defensive effort?
Magnerelli gets steal, but offensive foul for Crimson. Housman and Pusar finally back with 6:18 to play, down 8. See if the Crimson can finally make a bucket here.
5:47 Pusar gets up for big offensive board on another McGreary miss. He'll shoot two. He makes the first. And nails the second. 17-18 from the line, 60-66, pulling to within six.
5:14 Terriers dominating on the offensive glass, now with 13 offensive boards. Brittain draws foul and nails one of two, 60-67.

But Crimson can't get a defensive board, Britain with another layup, 62-69.
4:09 Pusar barely misses up and under layup. Strong makes one of two. Terrier misses at the stripe are keeping the Crimson in it. 62-70.
3:40 Miller gets strong cut to the basket, nice call by Amaker on the inbound play. But then he fouls on the other end, 64-72 after two Britain free throws.
3:05 Lin to the line, shooting two, after strong drive. Makes first. The second-Miller with offensive board, and then McGreary three! 68-72.
Unbelievable turn of events.
Turnover on BU, Harvard running, but Lin is denied. BU gets a layup on the other end. 68-74.
2:28 Miller is fouled on the loose ball. Big play for the sophomore here, shooting two. Absolute brick on the first. The second no better, still 68-74.
2:00 Lowe nails the dagger with two minutes, three pointer puts Terriers up 68-77.
1:51 Pusar nails quick bucket, but Harvard is going to need a minor miracle here to come back, 70-77.
1:44 Crimson draws a turnover on Lowe. Harvard ball.
Housman to Magnerelli for quick bucket, 72-77, with 1:35 to play. That's four points, 16 seconds. Still down five, it's going to be tough.
1:28 Housman gets called for questionable call at best, Terriers make the first, 72-78. Nail second, 72-79.
Housman misses floater.
Housman fouls after 20 seconds, but get worst Terrier shooter on the line.
Misses both
1:00 to play, down 7.
:30 Miller misses layup.
And they let the clock run out. Crimson loses 79-72 to BU.
