Hasty Pudding Theatricals
In the wake of an August petition calling on the Hasty Pudding Institute of 1770 to donate funds connected to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, the Hasty Pudding announced a $50,000 donation to an anti-sex trafficking nonprofit Monday.
Current Hasty Pudding Theatricals members and alumni started a petition to the organization’s graduate board last month calling for the Pudding to donate the $50,000 gift it received from a charity connected to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein in 2016.

A charity connected to convicted sex offender and Harvard donor Jeffrey E. Epstein gave tens of thousands of dollars to the Hasty Pudding Institute of 1770 and a non-profit linked to a Harvard professor, according to tax filings obtained by The Crimson.
The Hasty Pudding Theatricals honored actor, director, and producer Milo Ventimiglia, the group’s 2019 Man of the Year, before the premiere of its newest production Friday evening. The performance marked the first time women were allowed to join the theater troupe's cast.
The price to see Milo Ventimiglia accept the Hasty Pudding Theatricals’ Man of the Year Award on Feb. 8 is $250, more than 12 times the $20 some students paid to see Bryce Dallas Howard at the Woman of the Year awards on Jan. 31.
Bryce Dallas Howard braved the frigid temperatures as she waved to on lookers during the Hasty Pudding Woman of the Year Parade, which was followed by a roast inside Farkas Hall. The actress, producer, and director was joined by members of The Hasty Pudding Theatrics dressed in colorful outfits as they danced through the streets.
