The Harvard Art Society holds an art making event in the basement of the Sackler museum. They used old books and magazines to make collages. (Second and third from left, co-presidents Leah Schecter '13 and Milo Tong '12)


Nancy Lin '11 gives a tour called "Kings and Gods: Important Statues across Cultures." This particular exhibit is of a Buddha in the Asian and Islamic Art (5000BC to the present) section, as one of several student-led tours of the Sackler Museum.


Thomas W. Lentz, the Elizabeth and John Moors Cabot Director of the Harvard Art Museum Director, Harvard Art Museums gives a welcome speech and later talks to visitors about the plans for renovating the Fogg Museum and its future.


Night at the Sackler Museum

The Harvard Art Museums Undergraduate Connection sponsored "Night at the Sackler" this past Thursday. Those who attended were treated to free food, entertainment by student groups, art-making activities, and student-led gallery tours.


Students browse the Sackler Museum’s modern and contemporary art exhibits at yesterday’s Night at the Sackler event, organized by the Harvard Art Museums Undergraduate Connection.
