The team which will represent Harvard in the intercollegiate lawn tennis tournament at New Haven next Tuesday has been definitely selected and will be made up as follows:

In the singles, F. H. Hovey, L. S., who is the present intercollegiate champion, go down as Harvard's first representative. R. D. Wrenn, '95, last year's interscholastic champion, will be the second representative, and G. F. Brown, Jr., '92, the third.

In the doubles, Hovey and Wrenn will form the first team, and Brown and W. D. Orcutt, '92, will form the second. There was some difficulty about the selection of the second team for the doubles, as several teams presented themselves as candidates, but after several matches Brown and Orcutt proved to be decidedly the best of the candidates, defeating Reed, '95 and Winslow, '95, their best competitors, 3-6, 6 3, 6-0, 6-3. The team will leave for New Haven on Monday evening.

The annual fall tournament of the H. L. T. A. will begin on Monday, Oct. 19th. The blue book for entries will be found at Leavitt & Peirce's, and the management urge every one to enter who can play tennis at all, as they are making every effort to make the tournament a great success.
