Reading Room Fund.

A year or two ago an agitation was started to raise subscriptions for a new reading room which should be connected with the library and should be kept open during the evening. This feeling was caused by a desire to obtain two things, a better lighted and better ventilated room than the present reading room in the library, and also a place where the resources of the library could be used in the evening without danger of destroying by fire volumes which could never be replaced. The college and graduates were canvassed for subscriptions, and the result up to September 1, 1892, was kindly provided by Mr. Moses Williams, the treasurer of the fund. It is as follows:
