Chess Plans for Next Year.

The Chess Club yesterday accepted a challenge from the Yale chess team for the annual dual tournament, to be held next fall in New Haven on November 18, the day before the Harvard-Yale football game. A tournament will be held early next fall in order to select the University team.

A team will also be entered in the thirteenth annual intercollegiate chess tournament to be held in New York about January 1, between teams representing Harvard, Yale, Columbia and Princeton. The University team will compete again next year in the Metropolitan League, made up of teams in Boston and vicinity.
