Track Work

A change has been made in the hours at which track candidates are to report for the various events. Men who are unable to keep them should notify Coach Lathrop. The regular hours for candidates to report have been arranged as follows: from 10 to 11, hammer-throwers and shot-putters; from 11 to 12.45, high-jumpers and pole-vaulters; from 3 to 5, hurdlers and candidates for all other track events; from 5 to 6, hammer-throwers.

During the week E. H. Clark '96 expects to coach the weight men every day after 4 o'clock, and W. F. Garcelon '95 will devote two or three afternoons to the hurdlers. This afternoon the milers and two-milers will run a half-mile trial; the half-milers will run a quarter-mile trial; and the sprinters will run the 220-yard dash.

More men are especially needed for the pole vault and weight events. At present there are only five candidates for the pole vault, eight for the hammer throw, and nine for the shot put.
