Work has begun on the Grace Hopkinson Eliot Hall, named for Mrs. Eliot, which is being erected out of the fund given for the purpose by Mrs. David P. Kimball of Boston. The hall, which will be for the use of Radcliffe students, will be built on the corner of Shepard and Walker streets, next to Bertram Hall, also the gift of Mrs. Kimball. The hall, designed by Mr. A. W. Longfellow of Boston, and which it is expected will be completed by September, 1907, will cost about $70,000. It is intended to be primarily a dormitory, to accommodate about 40 students.
