The four classes met in Massachusetts Hall last night to discuss the athletic situation and to sign the petition to the Faculty, which has been drawn up for undergraduate signatures. No resolutions were passed, but the class presidents outlined the object of the petition, explained the necessity of some action by the undergraduates if intercollegiate athletics are to be preserved, and urged everyone to sign the petition.

At 9 o'clock last evening 801 undergraduates had already signed. The petition will remain in he Crimson office today, where every man who has not already done so should sign in the interest of the cause.
