The University tennis team will play its fourteenth annual match with Yale in New Haven Saturday. Single matches for the best two out of three sets will be played in the morning, and doubles for the best three out of five sets will be played in the afternoon.
This will be the first dual match for the team this year, as the Princeton match was postponed. The men have been playing well and should be in good shape by Saturday. The team now consists of C. C. Pell '08, captain, A. S. Dabney '09, F. Cutting '09, W. H. Y. Hackett '08, N. W. Niles '09, and E. P. Pearson '09. Cutting defeated G.C. Adams '10 for the sixth place yesterday, 10-8, 7-5, 6-2. Dabney and Niles won the intercollegiate doubles championship and played on the team last fall. Pearson was on the team last spring, and Cutting and Hackett are new men.
The Yale team is especially good this year, and has already defeated Princeton and Columbia. The team which will play Saturday is made up as follows: H. Bundy, N. Bundy, Jones, Spaulding, Stevens. The sixth place has not yet been filled.
