HOCKEY SEASON TICKETS ON SALE

Regulations for Scrub Series to Take Place After Christmas.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The season tickets which the management of the University hockey team has prepared will go on sale at Leavitt & Peirce's this morning at the price of $2. This ticket does not admit the purchaser to the Yale or Princeton games, but is good for the Dartmouth contest, and the games with Massachusetts Institute of Technology, B. A. A., Queen's College, Cornell, Massachusetts Agricultural College and McGill.

The University hockey squad will begin the real work on the ice tomorrow unless unforeseen accidents hold up the scheduled opening of the Arena. The men on the squad have been divided into tentative teams, but the number of the candidates will be cut down within the week.

Rules for Scrub Series.

All men in the University who are interested in hockey are asked to sign up at once for the scrub hockey series in the blue-book at Leavitt & Peirce's.

The rules governing the series are as follows: (1), the name of each team with a full list of its members must be entered before December 19; (2), a list of the men who played must be sent to the assistant manager of the University team at the Athletic Office after every game; (3), every team must have a captain or manager who will take complete charge of the team; (4), as many men as desire may be entered on one team but no man will be permitted to play with more than one; (5), the captain of manager must be designated in the blue-book, and must find out from all members of his team the days on which they will be able to play.

Men not connected with any team may sign the blue-book, but must not fail to designate what position they wish to play. Such men will be assigned by the committee to fill any vacancies. Any failure to observe the above rules will cause disqualification. The series will start immediately after the Christmas vacation, and the games will be played on rinks to be constructed on Soldiers Field.
