The 1918 Red Book will be ready for publication on or about June 6. This book, which will be in the usual form, contains a complete record in picture and in story of the activities of the Freshman class during the past year, and in completeness surpasses its five predecessors. The efficiency of the business department has made possible greater expenditure in the various branches. This department has secured over $700 worth of advertisements more than was procured last year, and $1150 in subscriptions, a gain of approximately $600 over last year's proceeds.
The printing is being done by the University Press and is of the highest grade, the cost being $1400, as compared with $500 paid by 1917.
Several New Features.
In this year's Red Book there are several innovations, of which the most important is the individual photographs of each member of the class. This feature, usually confined to the Senior Album, will add greatly to the value of the Freshman book. Besides this more pictures of general interest are being published. It is further possible that the book may be bound in leather, but this has not been decided.
