Trials for the University tennis team will start next Monday. Blue-books have been placed at Leavitt & Peirce's in which candidates must sign before next Saturday night at 6 o'clock. When signing, men are requested to indicate their afternoon classes. As soon as the University team has been chosen, there will be trials for the second team, for which a schedule of matches with outside teams has already been arranged.

The competition for the position of manager of the Freshman tennis team will begin next Monday.

Thirteen tennis courts on Jarvis Field will be ready for use by next Saturday or Monday at the latest, if present favorable weather conditions continue. These courts comprise those on the south side of the field. The Soldiers Field courts will not be in condition until after the Easter vacation.

Preparation of the fast courts at Divinity Field will not start for some weeks.
