R.O.T.C. TO BE FORMED FOR PARADE AT 11.15

Final plans for the participation of the University unit of the Reserve officers Training Corps in the "All America" parade, which will be held in Boston on Saturday afternoon, were announced yesterday by the Headquarters Office. The regiment will march as a part of the First Section, in rear of a brigade of the Massachusetts State Guard, and will be among the first, therefore, to complete the circuit of the line of march.

Excused From Classes After 11.

The three battalions will form in column of squads in their appointed positions promptly at 11.15 o'clock on Saturday morning and will then march to Boston, where the regiment will take its place in the parade. All men who are to take part in the event will be excused from classes commencing at 11 o'clock, or later. The First Battalion will form on the Charles River Road, facing east, in such a position that the leading company will stand opposite Gore Hall. It will be followed by the Second Battalion which will fall in on Boylston Street, facing the Anderson Bridge, with its head at Charles River Road. The men of the third Battalion are to form on the latter road, facing east, with their leading company just west of Boylston Street. During the preparatory halt of the regiment on Newbury Street, where it will meet the other marchers, lunches will be provided by the Supply Officers.

More than 80,000 people have promised to march in the parade, and of this number over 4,000 will be members of military organizations. There will be no horses or automobiles except those used in connection with the floats which will be provided by some of the civic and patriotic associations. Thus, every person except those on floats will make the entire march on foot.

After the conclusion of the exercises the corps will march back to Cambridge in column of squads and will then be dismissed.
