COMMISSION 116 ENSIGNS IN NAVAL RESERVE TODAY

Thirteen From University Among Graduates From Last Class of Officers' Material School.

Thirteen University men receive their ensign's commissions in the Naval Reserve this afternoon when the last class, numbering 116, of the Officers' Material School graduates. President Lowell, Rear Admiral Wood, and Captain P. W. Hourigan, Commandant of the School, will speak at the graduation exercises in Sanders Theatre at 3 o'clock. The newly commissioned officers will be placed on inactive duty, unless they apply, in accordance with a recent order from Washington, for temporary commissions in the regular navy.

The following members of the class are University men: R. H. Bowen '20, F. S. Clark, Jr., '14, C. H. Dickerman '07, H. S. Fraine '21, L. Hickey '17, F. J. Johnson '20, H. P. Moore '18, A. D. Morgan '21, H. G. Noyes '20, M. H. Simons '19, C. Thorndike '20, G. Tolman, Jr., '21, A. L. Waldron 1G. '16-17.

The program for this afternoon's exercises follows: Overture, Charlestown Navy Yard  Band "Star Spangled Banner,"  Band Invocation, Lieut. A. R. Parker, Chaplain, U. S. N. Address,  President Lowell Selection,  Band Address, Rear Admiral Spencer S. Wood Selection,  Band Address,  Capt. P. W. Hourigan, U. S. N. Award of Diplomas. "America,"  Band
