Thursday's practice ended the spring football season. Due to the rainy conditions, the scrimmage which had been scheduled, was abandoned, and a light work-out in falling on the ball and running down punts was substituted.
In an interview with a CRIMSON reporter Coach W. Rollins '16 said: "The spring football season was on the whole very successful. The four objects which the coaches outlined as the aim at the beginning of the season were in the main accomplished. They were first to get a line on the new men, to get football into the heads of the players, to give as much individual instruction as possible, and lastly to try out new plays.
"All of these, with the exception of the last were accomplished. Although most of the men who reported were not of University team calibre, nine or ten will undoubtedly be strong contenders for places on next years team."
