HUPD Chief Says Harvard Yard Encampment is Peaceful, Defends Students’ Right to Protest
The Instrumental Clubs of the University will soon enter upon a season of activity. Coached by Mr. W. G. Rice '14, who has been acting in that capacity for a number of years, these clubs should continue their successes of past seasons in the following tentative schedule of concerts arranged for the coming winter: December 20, Chestnut Hill Club; December 22, Providence; February 12, Fall River; March 18, Lowell; March 26, Cambridge.
Tonight at 7 P. M. in Hollis 27, the competitions for the first and second assistant managerships will start, the former being open to Juniors and the latter to Sophomores. In these competitions, no previous experience is necessary, and the successful candidates will make all of the trips with the clubs.
