The University hockey team practiced yesterday for the first time since last Friday. Captain Walker directed the practice, which consisted of the usual puck drill with the forward line taking the rubber through the backs. For a half hour there was a hard scrimmage between two teams of six men each chosen by Captain Walker. Frequent substitutions were made. After today there will only be one or two practices before the second game of the Princeton series at Philadelphia.

Since the University faced the Tiger hockey team, Princeton has been able to practice frequently in the big Philadelphia arena. Last Saturday the Orange and Black seven played their second game with the Yale seven. The Elis won the contest, 6 to 1, thus capturing the series for the Blue. Tonight the Princeton seven, will face Dartmouth. If Princeton loses this game the Nassau men will not be expected to make much of a showing against the University on Saturday.
