The class team which heads the column at the end of the interclass series will play the winning Yale class team at New Haven on Saturday, May 29. This date is subject to the approval of the Athletic Committee and will also depend on whether the series here can be completed before that date.

Today the Sophomores and Juniors will make a belated start when they report for practice for the first time. Enough men for two teams have already signed up to play, and both classes should be well represented. R. G. Potter '22 has been appointed to act as playing manager of his class team. Tomorrow the series will start in earnest, when the Freshmen meet the Sophomores, and the Seniors, with one victory to their credit, play the Juniors.

Although the winning class teams will at all events receive numerals to be worn on their caps, Graduate Manager Fred W. Moore '93 yesterday said that it was probable that the regular numerals would be awarded to the champion nine.

At New Haven interclass baseball has this year met with unprecedented enthusiasm. There are eight teams organized, a Sheffield and Academic one for each class, and more than 50 games in the series have been played. The Senior Academic nine was in the lead for the first of the season, but last week the Junior Academics, cutting down a small lead, slipped into first place.
