SOCIAL ETHICS DEPARTMENT OFFERS MANY NEW COURSES

Four Courses Given for the First Time--Others Were Given in Other Years

The Department of Social Ethics will offer a number of new courses for the second half year according to a statement just issued by the College Office. Social Ethics A, Human Relations, which is a new course this year, being given by Doctor R. C. Cabot '89, may be taken as a half course in the second half year. The other new half courses which are open to undergraduates include Social Ethics 16, The Kingdom of Evil, of which Doctor Cabot will also be in charge, and Social Ethics 6 and 15, two courses conducted by Assistant Professor R. F. Foerster '06 and dealing respectively with Unemployment and Recent Theories of Social Reform.

Two new professional courses, Social Ethics 12 and 14, both to be given by Assistant Professor James Ford '05, will be offered for the first time, but will not be open to undergraduates.

Of all these courses only Social Ethics 6 and 15 have been given in other years.
