1924 PLAYS ST. MARK'S

SCHOOLBOYS BELOW STANDARD

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The same men that started against M. I. T. on Monday will face off for the Crimson when the Freshman hockey team meets St. Mark's this afternoon at 3.15 at Southboro, but with all indicatitons pointing to an easy game, Coach Lombard will probably use almost all the men on the squad before the final whistle blows. The yearlings, after their victory Milton and M. I. T., are at the top of their stride and ought to add another point to their victory column, provided warm weather does not force the game to be postponed.

The schoolboys have a weak team this year, having been blanked by Browne and Nichols and by Cambridge Latin, and having just escaped from a shut-out at the hands of Middlesex School on Monday.

The yearlings did not practice yesterday afternoon on account of the poor condition of the ice on the Charlesbank Rinks, which threatens to prohibit practice during the rest of the week.
