Major T. H. Thomas '03 to Talks on "The Meuse-Argonne Offensive" in Varsity Club at 7.30

This evening at 7.30 o'clock Major T. H. Thomas '03 will address the University Chapter of the American Legion at the Varsity Club on "The Meuse-Argonne Offensive". Major Thomas has come into prominence lately through his articles in the New York Evening Post on American strategy during the war. He was in France with the A. E. F. from December 1917 to April 1919, when he was honorably discharged. During this period he served first in the intelligence Department at General Headquarters as a First Lieutenant, then in the Fifth Army Corps as a Captain of Infantry, and later returned to General Headquarters. In January 1919 he was attached to the American Commission to negotiate peace at Paris, and in April was promoted to the rank of Major.
