University Band Trials at 7.30

Candidates for the University Band will be given a chance to try out for that organization this evening at seven o'clock in Sanders Theatre. Immediately following the trials, which are to be at 7.30 o'clock, there will be the first rehearsal of the full band. Regular practices are scheduled to begin immediately in order to have a well-drilled organization for the football games.

A new feature which is planned by the leaders this year will be a bugle and drum corps, candidates for which are especially desired. In addition to men playing these instruments, positions are open to ten violinists, four 'celloists, and players of all brass and reed instruments

F. L. Reynolds '21, who has so successfully led the band for the past two years, will not personally take charge this year, but he is expected, at some later date, to help out in the instruction of the members.
