MR. WILLIAM L. MARBURY TO ADDRESS LAW SCHOOL SOCIETY

Prominent Baltimore Lawyer Has Had Recent Interesting Cases on Prohibition and Suffrage Amendment

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

At a meeting of the Law School Society, to be held tomorrow evening at 8 o'clock in Phillips Brooks House, Mr. William L. Marbury of Baltimore will be the speaker. Mr. Marbury is one of the leading lawyers in his city and has been connected for some time with the firm of Marbury, Gosnell, and Williams. He has conducted negotiations with President Diaz of Mexico, served as United States District Attorney under President Cleveland, and acted as Democratic State Chairman at the time of ex-President Wilson's election in 1912. What makes him most interesting to law students are his recent cases on Prohibition, the Suffrage Amendment, and his argument against Senator Pepper to show that organized baseball was a trust.
